2014 favourites

My favourite products !

I'm back with a new post and its going to be my 2014 favourites . I'm sure you will have seen many of these posts floating around the blogging scene, so I thought I would contribute to it ! I'm going to include skincare, make up , hair care . I'm going to start with make up...

1. Body shop tea tree BB cream  : This was my go to base product throughout summer , it provides amazing coverage, stayed put all day and still gave me a fresh glowy look. I couldn't ask for more and it is such a bargain at only £8 !

2. Benefit Hoola bronzing powder : This bronzer is an absolute Gem ! It blends out amazingly and leaves a perfectly contoured look to the face. It is pricey but it has lasted for over a year and although I have hit pan I still have plenty left and I'm sure it will last me for a lot longer.

3 . MUA undress me too pallete : This pallete is amazing value for money !  You can create so many amazing looks with this , from natural everyday to night time Smokey looks ! The quality of the shadows is amazing and many of them can just be swiped across the lid slightly blended and can still look amazing ! Its a complete bargain at only £4 !

1. Herbal Essences volume boosting shampoo : This shampoo has been  a God send for me it has boosted my hair so much and left it feeling so clean and fresh. It has a really fresh and fruity smell which lingers throughout the day.

2. Loreal Matte and messy salt spray : This salt spray gave my hair amazing texture and volume and also had  a very nice scent. I am a massive fan of using this after sleeping with my hair in plaits as it gives my hair a really messy look which I love. This product is also very cheap and easy to get hold of , so I would really recommend it.salt spray

1. Garnier Charcoal scrub : This face wash has basically saved my skin. It is gentle  enough to use everyday yet you can still feel it doing something to your skin. After using this my skin feels so refreshed and clean , I love it ! It is always on offer in boots or Superdrug so it is very cheap !

2. Astral cream : The first time I tried this cream I couldn't stand It , my face felt greasy but then I tried it again and used a little bit less product and it worked like a dream ! It hydrated my face and left a perfect base for my make up. It lasts forever and you get such a big tub for such little money.

That's all for now, I hope I haven't rambled to much ! This post took me two hours to type so I hope you all enjoy it ! Thanks for reading,

Whats on my face ?

What's on my face ?

For base I kept things pretty minimal but still made sure my face was bronzed and dewy.
For foundation I used Rimmel match perfection in the shade light porcelain and used a Real techniques buffing brush to buff it all in. I love using this brush because it provides a natural but still flawless finish. For under eye concealer I used the Bourjois healthy mix anti fatigue concealer in a triangle shape under my eyes. I applied this with my real techniques pointed foundation brush , because the pointed end made it easy to get under my eyes. For powder I used the maybeline matte maker. I love this powder because it keeps my make up in place all day but doesn't leave me looking to matte and dull. I applied this with a random powder brush from superdrug that I got in a gift set last year.

For bronzer I used the Bourjois delice de pouder Duo which I love ! I applied under my check bones and on my temples to give a natural bronzed look to my skin. For blush I used the bright pink one from my urban decay shattered face case to give me a touch of radiance. And for highlighter I used Benefit what's up , on the tops of my check bones, down the my nose , on my chin and brought it up onto my forehead.I set my highlighter in place with the highlighting powder in my borjouis duo.

On my eyes I used benefit bikini tini cream eye shadow and placed it all over the lid. On top of that I used Nectar from my Smashbox trio which I am loving at the minute ! I then applied my collection extreme 24 hour felt tip liner in the shade purple to my lash line, and in my water line I used urban decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil in the shade zero. For mascara I used Bourjois volume glamour max which I piled on , this is my all time favourite mascara as it provides me with crazy amounts of volume.

For brows I used my maybeline brow gel in the shade medium brown and that provides me with enough shape and colour.

On my lips I used the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 107.
And that's it !

Boxing day haul !

Hello !

Welcome back ! Or if your new here welcome ! Todays post is going to be a boxing day haul. Before I start I want to clarify I am not bragging ive just seen a lot of these posts going around so I thought I would join in !

The first place I went to was lush , ( I was slightly embarrassed to be one of the first ones in the shop ). I headed straight to the sale and picked up my favourite Candy mountain and a gift set which contained some of the delicious snow fairy shower gel and some pink fun which I used in my bath and it created crazy amounts of bubbles ! All of the festive stuff was 50% off so all the more reason to pick up a few of my favourites !

Next I went to Boots and headed straight to where the gift sets are as they are all 50% off. I scanned the packed isles for a soap and glory gift set , which eventually after loads of pushing and shoving I got my hands on a gift set containing the sugar crush scrub , body butter and shower gel. I was beyond happy ! I also picked up a Umberto Gianni gift set containing shampoo, conditioner , hair spray , an overnight hair rescue balm and a large mirror. I was so happy with what I found in Boots.

After my Boots finds I was on a retail high and headed straight to New look but sadly I found nothing :(. Topshop was near buy and I can always find something in there and I did ! I found a stunning black dress with little daisy's on and happily trotted off to the counter and gave them my vouchers !

A shop that I don't usually go to is Clinton cards but when I saw that Yankee Candles were half price I was in there like a flash. I managed to snap up a large jar in the icicle's scent for only £10 !
